George Washington (born February 22, 1732) is the commander-in-chief of the Continental Army.

Biography[]

French and Indian War (or 'Seven Years War', 1754–1758)[]

During the French and Indian War, George Washington served with General Edward Braddock. After an attack, Washington was with Braddock as he died and continued to fight against the enemy forces that had attacked them.

American Revolution (1775–present)[]

After reciting the Declaration of Independence to the Continental Army, General Washington led them against General Gage and a large force of British forces in the Battle of New York Harbor.
